Also the description is amusing.
UP FOR SALE IS THIS 1996 BMW 750iL. MILES ARE LOW. ONLY 124,000. THE V-12 ENGINE RUNS GREAT WITH COLD A/C. THIS VEHICLE WAS JUNKED TO US BECAUSE LIKE ALL OLDER GERMAN CARS THEY ARE MONEY PITS SO SINCE THIS CAR HAS SO MANY GOOD USEFUL PARTS WE THOUGHT SOMEONE CAN BUY WHOLE CAR FOR PARTS AND SAVE A TON OF MONEY. THANKS FOR LOOKING.

The guy wanted to put a V12 into his cobra replica, naturally.
Started looking at this. Very interesting. Page 3 is encouraging.

The 750iL has even inspired me to daydream about vanity plates. However, RI rules are lame.
Allowed letter/number combinations for your vanity plate are:
•2-6 letters with no numbers
•3-5 letters followed by 1 number
•3-4 letters followed by 2 numbers
•3 letters followed by 3 numbers
Can't begin with "M73" or "V12" (was considering M73FTW or even V12FTW). I could do BMWM73 but that looks dumb, and I'm not putting "BMW" on a vanity plate. That's not the part I think is cool. Also it could be confused with this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M73_machine_gun

Basically the best I could come up with is this:
RI VEE12.png
It is available.

Here's a generic but kind of funny option that could apply to basically anything I like:

It is taken!!!

By the way, the cams ride directly on a journal built into the heads. No cam bearings. Since OHC is new and scary to me, I have no idea if this is typical or not.

Price check on Roadmaster sedans, under $4k, within 1,000 miles.

1994
http://hudsonvalley.craigslist.org/cto/5332406302.html
135k for $2,500. White with blue interior. Appears to be a limited. The 94s were fancier than 95s in two ways: triple lumbar support and 5-band graphic EQ. Overall, a pretty nice specimen.

http://maine.craigslist.org/cto/5339412139.html
"No rust!" 122k. $1,900. Black/red. Appears to be a limited and has those rare wheels. This is in Kittery so really not that far, either. Says it was stored in winters. Now this one is honestly intriguing. Unless my eyes deceive, it looks like it has stickers on the front bumper that look a lot like gov't facility access stickers (Portsmouth Naval Shipyard?). Double cool. I think I will shoot this guy an e-mail and ask for the SPID.

http://scranton.craigslist.org/cto/5352757680.html
Ouch this is rough. Notice the lack of intake tubing. Maybe he already sold it. Ugh. $900.

http://buffalo.craigslist.org/cto/5348654698.html
150k, $1,500.
1994 Buick Roadmaster for Sale 1500.00 or Best offer.. Runs good and in good Shape..
http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/5355459273.html
177k, $1,950

http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/5350312976.html
135k, $2,000. Has 22z and a system. And tints. Appears pretty clean.

http://dayton.craigslist.org/ctd/5343074344.html
Rolling on what looks like 22z, this is offered at an indy dealer, hilariously. 140k, $3,000.

http://louisville.craigslist.org/cto/5337419019.html
135k, $2,500 firm. This one has a good bit of description. Dash is cracked. Pretty nice otherwise. Full moon hubcaps which is a cool touch.

http://bn.craigslist.org/cto/5347261308.html
158k, $1,900. Not presented real well (filthy for one). Quite a diatribe at the end about how the sale will go so screw him.

Overall thoughts on this...these would be a 100x smarter buy than an E38. Many of these are in pretty good shape and the prices are mostly pretty good. Looking at the backseat however, I am not sure this is really what I want.

Will do 95s and 96s later.

http://binghamton.craigslist.org/cto/5339787627.html

98k for $3,000. Not a limited.
1995 Buick roadmaster in great shape with tow package everything works including air and heat. It's only been I one winter it's whole life very clean car it has the lt1 v8 and gets 23 mpg on the highway it's tan with tinted windows and is rich looking nice car for the money 3000 OBO
There is one spot of rust from stone chips on the passenger back fender that is the only spot on the whole car and it's barley noticeable
If you are one of those people that want to come offer me 1000$ less than I'm asking don't bother you are wasting my time and yurs!
This car needs two minor gaskets oil relocator and water pump. They both drip a couple drops a day never a big deal it has been like this for a year it wasn't bed enough to fix even tho I would have liked to. These leaked have absolutely no influence on how this car runs and drives for being 25 yrs old it is cleaner better riding and nicer than cars 10 yrs old.
Garage kept its whole life!
http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/ctd/5355586867.html
Hearse! $2,900 with only 55k. There is another ad dropping the price to $2,800.
Interior looks like Ed's wagon. This is interesting because it started life as a sedan, not a wagon, since it has the sedan front end.

http://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/cto/5346613157.html
Seized engine! Rare. Also rusty. $700

http://dayton.craigslist.org/cto/5374324477.html
Driver's side mirror needs to be replaced (shocking). $1,300. Unknown miles. "Good breaks"
Runs and drives VERY VERY WELL . Good breaks , no body rust , needs a side mirror . Power everything , keyless entry. Engine is a LT ONE !!!!! Good clear clean title. Can drive home !!!!! Great car for the money. Selling due to having too many vehicles Needs a muffler...... For the ASKING PRICE OF $ 1300. We will replace muffler!!!! No tears in leather seats . Interior needs cleaned
http://greenville.craigslist.org/ctd/5370879931.html
163k for $2,850. At an indy dealer. Not a limited, no tow pack. Aftermarket (ugly) audio. Pretty clean.

http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/cto/5369564992.html
91k for $2,500. Rolling 22z. Includes the desirable "blue headlights."

http://atlanta.craigslist.org/eat/ctd/5365683311.html
146k for $2,478 (another indy dealer). This ad gets bonus points for "drives out good." V92! Red over grey. May be a limited, or at least has the heated seats. Has a Club on the steering wheel (lol).
THIS IS A ONE OWNER 95 BUICK ROAD MASTER. THIS IS A NICE CAR. 146k MILES. RUNS AND DRIVES OUT GOOD. A/C, HEAT, KEYLESS REMOTE.
