A/W: Subaru BRZ STI

But sans turbo. Huh?

I recommend that Bob and Adam get excited over the return of the hot hatch (at least this one is RWD). I will abstain.

This car will be awesome. Hopefully the STI has enough power. N/A 4 cyl isn't super exciting. The regular BRZ is actually supposed to be really fun. Not supper fast, but fun. Also, to be fair, it isn't a hot hatch. It is a 2 seater coupe. It is more like a hard top Miata than a hot hatch.

I was thinking about the Civic Type R when I made that comment.

At one point in time, I thought maybe a BRZ STI would be a fun replacement for the Elise. This was back when a turbo was rumored. I actually drove a BRZ and was happy to get back into my Elise afterwards. The Elise has a little bit of extra edginess to it that the BRZ doesn't have.

I am excited about the Civic Type R. Unfortunately, it may have arrived a few years too late for me.
