That's something. I like everything I've read about the Spark, including its affordability.

Now for sale in Maryland!

On a side note, I saw a ICE Spark on the road the other day and I must say that car is tiny. It appears to be significantly smaller than the Leaf. It might still be a fun car to commute with due to the punchier performance than its peers, but not so practical for hauling people.

It's a quick little shoe though (the EV one).

“The Spark EV has been one of the most well-received electric vehicles in the industry," said Steve Majoros, Chevy's director of car marketing, in a statement. "Customer demand helped make the decision to expand its availability to Maryland.”
Maryland? That's the next state of peak demand? I mean I guess it's less surprising than if the state was, say, Texas...

When Toyota rolled out the Prius Plug In in some random states, Maryland was also on that list. Not sure why...

$139 a month with no money down! Too bad it's still only available in select states.

Man.

Low gas prices are a bitch :)

So is denial.
Chevy spokeswoman Annalisa Bluhm said lower fuel prices are not a factor in the price cut and added incentives. She said Chevy wants to reach more customers.

I think it's easy for Tesla to claim that low fuel prices haven't impacted sales, but it's clear that low fuel prices have impacted the low end of the EV market. I would love to pick up one of these cheap leases that I see advertised on the 500e, Spark, or even the i3. Unfortunately, not many of them are available in NC.
