2014 WK2 Air Suspension

It's pronounced "chassy." Brakes, suspension...things that make the car fun or a death trap

A quick co-pilot search confirms that the dongle is locked to my phone.

That's a lot of running around for a $54 thing but cool if this AI response is legit. It came from Top Don so that's something. You might say it came from the Don himself.

Back on the Launch -

Looks like it is a 12 month subscription for $38.35.

The Top Don does all makes for its annual subscription.

I guess it would be awkward if the Top Scan didn't support the suspension function. I think the special functions are not just bidirectional control but are learning/reset type things.

Of course the same disclaimer applies to the Jeep software on the Launch. They probably both support this kind of test.

I guess if you wanted to take the long way home one evening we could find out.

I don't know if you're headed to East Lyme Sunday or not. My current plans are that I hope to get back from VT in time to head over there Sunday afternoon. I will likely stop home to shower and switch from the box truck to the Jeep.

I guess I get from the above that the dongle is portable but the account is not - I wouldn't be able to use it unless I had my own TopDon account (which would've come with a dongle for $54 for a year...). The hardware is effectively free, (which makes sense, it's probably like $8 worth of hardware or something) and the subscription is where they recoup.

Actually the AI chat with Top Don support indicated that it is possible to switch registered apps and share a dongle. However I made the point that it's pretty cheap and sharing maybe doesn't make sense. Meeting to either do the test, or do the test and then buy your own seems like a reasonable approach. But you are welcome to borrow back the Launch and pursue that as well.

Held OK ride-height-wise for 8 days at BDL last week while I went on vacation. Could it all be temperature-related variation or do I have an intermittent leak. IDK.
