Cars in Comedy

Post by dochielomn »

Kevin, feel free to move this out of Car Lounge if you feel this belongs somewhere else on this forum (nope, not forgiving/forgetting when you moved my pool topic out of the pool part of the forum, )

Since Luke Perry passed away last week, SNL ran the episode when he hosted back in 1993. In it, they had this which I figure some people on this forum might not have seen but would enjoy:

Then, that link, got me thinking about the Curb Your Enthusiam episode where Larry decides to be a car salesman, so here's 2 thinks for that:

Think my favorite line from Curb is Larry telling Afion (or however you spell the name) that he's fucking up his shit.

They got the model info correct for the car they were standing next to.

Guaranteed Tremendous Safety. (Not) ironically, what the Celica is probably not known for.

I also forgot about Larry saying "you don't hear Camry, Camry!" (as oppose to hearing Lexus, Lexus).
