Probably has 200k. Pretty nice. DGGM, an Impala SS color. I still am annoyed about the Limited.

Also, enthusiast alert: it has home plate and first base delete with the hockey puck and PVC intake. Good bet this has seen its share of WOT.

Condition and price seems pretty good.

I noticed a K&N so there's that.

1980 olds cutlass wagon 8.1 big block - $4000 (Cumberland)

Don't worry, it is a manual...
Throwing my wagon up here. It's an 80 olds wagon with an 8.1 vortec big block. It has a comp cam, made 396hp 515 torque. Super t10 4 speed. Ford 9" rear end w/Mini spool. Runs and drives good, hauls the mail. Unfortunately I was rear ended a couple weeks ago and am looking to get into something a little older. The car will need a pull but can be fixed with minimal parts. It's someone else's turn to have the ultimate sleeper. Looking for $4000 obo or trade for something interesting. Can add cash if it's worth it.

That is pretty awesome. I'd like it more if it were a B-body of course.

His comment about wanting to get into something older was pretty funny.

This is tempting...

So a 2013 SS is around 22-25K depending on miles. This car is definitely a couple grand better...

I don't know what I am more surprised about... The Gen 5 holding it's value so much, or the Gen 6 losing value so fast... Unfortunately 28K is more than I want to spend, I would really like to be closer to 20 or less...

$8k is not insignificant. However, when I was CTS-V shopping, if I thought I could spend $23k instead of $15k and get a V2, I think that would have changed my decision making process significantly. Even today with both cars older than the ones you are looking at, I'd still probably have to put down at least $10k and probably more like $13k to get into a V2 from my car. In other words the bottom of market V2 is still like twice the value of my car. So in a way, $8k for the better car is somewhat justifiable. I would keep doing what you are doing and really get a thorough feel for all of the market offerings.

I'm surprised by this too because the Gen 6 is a much better car to drive. Maybe the general market doesn't care because the power ratings aren't a lot different and they both look similar.

I agree that the performance of the gen 6 is much better (handling and acceleration). You would think that at least the people that bought the gen 5 would know that and want to upgrade. As it stands, it seems that the gen 5 sold much better. Need to get the numbers. I could understand the general public not knowing the specs.

This is partly why I am even looking at it. I prefer the more muscular look of the gen 5 before the refresh (2013 is the ideal year for me, before refresh, after backup camera/ugly radio fix, and corrected suspension geometry) to the styling of the gen 6, but, the gen 6 is much better, and honestly, if the gen 5 didn't exist, and the Camaro came back in 2016 vice 2010, I would be just as psyched about it as I was for the gen 5. Basically, if performance was equal, I would pick the gen 5 styling, but I still like the gen 6 styling.

Considering that the 2016 Camaro SS was equal in lap videos with the M4, I can't believe that you can get one for 28K lightly used. I am not sure I am ready to commit that much yet though.

Also, I would love to find out what a 5-8 year old 2000 Camaro SS went for on the used market...
