It's true though. It would be far more efficient if I lived in a tiny room with a cot at my place of employment during the week and returned home to a 1 room flat for the weekend. But I don't want to live in that future.

I like the part about big block station wagons!

I wonder where the extra 7 billion people are gonna live... I hope it's not RI.. we're already pretty crowded.

Over population is definitely a problem. Remember, it is all about incentives. Why is it such a financial incentive to have kids? Kind of weird that our government promotes it even though it is causing a lot of problems.

I don't really see a financial incentive to have kids when you look at the overall picture, not just the tax incentives; however negative population growth isn't a good thing for the economy either.

Kids are only expensive if you want to give them all the advantages possible. The bare minimum is quite a low bar.
