Caprice engine swap?
Re: Caprice engine swap?
Ok I'll bring the newer ones.
Re: Caprice engine swap?
I highly recommend using Waze for a trip like this. It can be a little annoying around town when it asks you to make a left across 3 lanes of traffic to save 30 seconds on your arrival time, but for the case where multiple highway options exist and they are similar in distance, but could vary greatly in time depending on current conditions, it can be a lifesaver.billgiacheri wrote:While driving we should look at traffic on 15 in CT compared to 95. According to this if we took 15 instead it is an extra 3 minutes, but if 95 is a parking lot, this might not be a bad option.

That is going to be Bill's department on his Android phone. I could bring my work iPhone 6S worst case...
Re: Caprice engine swap?
I think the driver isn't usually the navigator. LOL.
They don't have Waze for Windows phone? I think the apple might do it...

Re: Caprice engine swap?
It actually does exist but Waze is owned by Google and they love dropping support for MS products. I better install it on the iPhone.
Re: Caprice engine swap?
I called and he did not see my e-mail yet.
- Bulbs are fine
- He thinks there is just a low tire and he will add air. If it needs a sensor it sounded like he would take care of that.
- There is NOT a Nav DVD. This is why I asked. This annoys me.
Some info on updating firmware (there is an update and if this car doesn't have it I will have to pay money to get it).

I will also need to find a nav DVD somewhere.

All of the above disc will work in the STS'. It just depends on what version you get. The later the version the more updated the info.

So we are still on?
Re: Caprice engine swap?
TBH I want another $200 off for this. It is not a $15 fix. It is a feature and it should work.
