I am actually interested in this. The vehicle is very important for Cadillac and GM. It is supposed to actually do battle with the 7-series and S-class MB.

Of course both articles start with the positively drop dead gorgeous Elmiraj concept.

It uses a new platform called Omega. In the past, GM would have simply used the Holden VF (Chevy SS) platform and added features until it became a Cadillac. And the VF is a superb platform. So that they are NOT doing that is quite significant (in a good way).

That also means they plan to charge money, not sell a Cadillac-badged VF with fancy leather for $60k.

What if they did this?
And what if they called it Fleetwood?

Now THAT looks like a flagship, not just a plus-sized CTS.

Would they call the coupe an Eldorado?

Also, such long rear doors.....like a Fleetwood.
