Get the latest. Everything is recalled seemingly all the time. Nothing to see here.

Turns out new cars are terrible. Old cars were also terrible when they were new, then they got better.

Sensational recall number headlines would seem less sensational if the media used percentages instead of total numbers.

I am surprised that with the number of parts and lines of code in a car now that there are not more problems. When you think that these systems need to work from -20 to 130 degrees for 200 to 250 thousand miles with only a 4 to 6 year development/test cycle I think it is nothing short of amazing that these cars are as good as they are.
This is one of the reasons I fear more computers in cars.

Oops, Honda.

Honestly I roll the dice every time I get into a car. Unlike the Toyota fiasco, at least with ignition switches and airbags, you have to be IN AN ACCIDENT for the problem to (potentially) appear. The idea that the car should be exactly as safe as some quantifiable number is ridiculous. There are so many variables in an accident that I wouldn't even think to try to assign blame to anything other than myself, or another driver. But maybe that's just me. This wouldn't stop me from buying a Honda, the same way that all the GM shit doesn't cause me any heartburn.

No, I think its the number of camshafts which do that.
