Car and Driver just wrapped up their 40k mile test of the 2013 BRZ. It is not yet online.
My impressions are that the quality doesn't seem to be there. And if you already have an Elise, or are considering a used one, there is nothing to be gained from purchasing a BRZ. I think you'd be better off with a Miata if you wanted something small and RWD for more daily driving chores.
Fun fact: The C7 has an even lower CG height than the BRZ, though I cannot figure out where I read that.

I just read this as well. I was hoping the build quality would have been a little more Japanese. I guess I made e right decision to hold on to the Elise. Although I will say NC roads are a lot less rattle inducing than MI roads, so who know a what the quality would be like here
