Favorite Local Roads..

Maybe this one should go in a Members only forum or something, to avoid them being swamped with all of the forum participants at once....
As with all nice roads, always watch for deer and other road users.
But I've found a scenic short loop (loop itself is about 6 miles IIRC):
1. Start with 116 north.
2. Left onto Rt 12. This goes across the dam for the Scituate Reservior, which is kinda cool. Good place for a passenger to take pics. Easy to stop at the pumphouse or whatever on a motorcycle.. Don't remember if a car would fit. I also like the uphill turn coming up off the dam right after that.
3. Take a right onto 102.
4. Almost immediate right onto 14. This road is ok too.
5. Right on to 116. This is what makes it a loop.
As far as RI goes, this is pretty ok for getting out of the house on a Sunday. You always have the option of going further north and west..
Also, I worked Hopkins Hill Road into my commute once in the Roadmaster. This one is pretty nice and curvy. Which is the roadmaster's natural habitat... Yeah....
I can post more if I think of them..
