From the last take:
In the end, shifting your own gears in a big, Corvette-engined sedan is so much fun that I don’t care about the styling or the interior. That’s not to say it’s just a dopey sedan with a great drivetrain, it also handles beautifully. You never get the sense that it’s too much motor for the chassis. This will almost certainly fall on deaf ears, but if you’re considering one of the Hellcats, you should really take an SS for a drive. It’s down on power to the Hellcat, but it drives better.
This is correct.

Sounds like they are advocating that you put a manual in the Caprice...

I'll give you interior, though you can't deny that it is comfortable. But on the styling, I think your opinion is wrong. If you didn't salivate over the 94-96 Impala SS when you were in 8th grade and into high school, then I question your integrity as a car guy. Oh snap.

One of my friends from high school's father bought a '95 Impala SS new. I only got to ride in it twice (he was very protective of his car), but I remember being impressed of how quick it was and how well it rode for a large sedan at the time.
