They address the streetability of this car, and even including rain driving. Haters want to believe that the OEM tires will be "useless" in the rain so they can dismiss them as cheaters or something. Not so.

15mpg combined is only slightly worse than my Fleetwood (or my 9C1 back when it was safe to drive). Those would do 18 mpg in the summer and ~16.5mpg in the winter. http://www.fuelly.com/driver/racecardriver

But the Camaro has nearly twice the power, which is pretty awesome as well as being manageable on wet roads which neither of my previous Camaros were (1981, 1983).
