Good platform for $4k; however not the right engine. The interior might be bad too since they didn't include a single interior pic.

That first Gen high feature is kind of a pile of shit.

I should qualify that. It's a pile of shit compared to a GM pushrod V8. Much more damningly, a pile of shit compared to the LH2 Northstar (04 RWD redesign)...

Have you seen this?

What are you waiting for? It looks like the seat isn't even ripped. Not the best pics... But looks decent for 2 grand.

If this was driven in a New England winter...like at all, then I don't want it. But, I will admit that overall, it is not bad but as I have said before, that is only because it is local.

That's pretty cheap for an SS.

The best way I could describe it...if the Caprice was totaled tomorrow, that would change everything. Right now, the right car would have to fall into my lap for me to pursue it. I have 5 vehicles and the Caprice is still going at 309k. I have no great desire right at this moment to start a project car.
I am more excited (like a lot more) for you to test drive that Chevy SS and report it, than I am to look at this Impala SS.

Also I think I won't be adding a vehicle until the Ranger is gone.
