Yes, stock, definitely. Except if they become wise to the transplant, I could have to go down that road of showing what it came from so I can pass THOSE emissions. I guess I didn't want to deal with that after having done all the work. Now I won't have to.
Yes, a swapped vehicle would be required to run the full emissions complement from the donor vehicle for whatever year the donor engine is from. Not hard if it is a stock swap.

Vehicles with exchanged engines: These vehicles are inspected for emissions compliance based on the chassis model year of the vehicle. However, if the engine is newer than the chassis model year, the emissions inspection is based on the model year of the engine.

But that may not be possible for the simple issue of having to do some kind of headers. Which is why I didn't want to go down this road until the state no longer cares. I can attach cats to headers and even pass a sniffer, but it may not pass the visual. Which leads to another important question: do cars 25 years and older still have to pass a visual? Safety yes, but visual emissions of any kind?

Maybe the car was real and I waited too long (or missed it in the first place). Some kind of off bait and switch situation (real or imagined).
He replied and said the Fleetwood is sold, but he has a Sedan DeVille. Looks like a ~71 or so. Not interested. I didn't even ask how much.
With his reply he did send a pic of the SDV:
1972 SDV.jpg
EDIT: he confirmed 1972. He also says this one is a "nicer car."
Hmmmmmmmm
Well anyway, even if this car exists, I don't like it. If I get one of these, it has to be the Fleetwood 60 or 75. No regular DeVille. Oh well, back to the drawing board.
EDIT 2: $5900. Sigh.

I like this. Or do I want the 75 Sedan for max length?

Same wheelbase and rear seat room as the 75 sedan.

I think the interior was better on this one. It actually seems really nice.
