Man. That like doubled. I guess my electricity usage with 5 window A/C units is equivalent to central air. Considering I think the entire house is comfortable, I guess this is not bad.

Put in the 3 bedroom window A/Cs. Used once. I am trying to convince Jamie to delay the two big 12k BTU downstairs units until a few weeks into June. When the evenings are still so cool, it seems dumb to spend all that money cooling the house when one night of windows open cools it right down again. When the nights stay in the 70s or more, then I understand (especially when humid). I guess I am being cheap. And putting in window units is annoying. And operating them is really annoying because the family doesn't understand all of the finicky ways you need to run them for optimal cooling (like doors closed if all 5 units are not running or installed, temp/fan settings where one or more gets turned way too low or way too high, etc.).
