Seems right. Oil at coolant + 10 seems normal.

Made the 300 mile return trip uneventfully. Oil level seems consistent and still seems pretty clean.

Congratulations. You own 2 of the 3 vehicles featured in this video, from 8 years ago.

Completed another ~580 mile road trip this weekend. I think that puts me around 2000 miles. No appreciable oil consumption that I can find. Also, FYI - when I pulled the downpipe to put in the catalytic converted, I did a basic play check for turbo bearing wear radial or axial and found that it was pretty tight, I would say felt like I would expect it to new.

Either that engine is newer than your mileage or it is very stout. Considering it was the most powerful 4 cylinder in the world 10 years ago ...
Especially surprising since I can't believe it didn't see some action with a downpipe over the past 55k or whatever.
Internet says that makes 26 psi stock.

I would hope they had their engineering together. It's also possible that if it was enthusiast owned that it was well serviced.

Modern emissions and fuel economy standards have pushed even the best engineering teams to make crappy trade-offs so they can sell their vehicles legally.
