Confirmed front rotors are the same as my Caprice, just without the ABS reluctor pressed on. I would expect 91-96 rotors to be fully compatible - I don't think anything would interfere with the reluctor ring.
And now I have specs on the rear rotors:

11.16" diameter by about 1" thick, vented. About what you'd expect. This is a tad smaller than the 94-96 rear discs. They cost the same as front rotors anyway. I wonder if they were properly proportioned...since the 94-96 discs were not.
I think I am going to be impressed by the way this car rides and drives - because it is fundamentally the same car as what they had in the 90s, except this was 1978.

I've never really seen this explicitly referenced in terms of B/D-bodies, but Roger Smith was kind of the face of the latest memory people have of GM, which is not usually fond when we refer to the 80s and 90s. Certainly there was some great innovations in the time, but the era in general is frowned upon.
But, the Roger Smith era didn't really begin until 1980 or so. Which means the 1978 Fleetwood was a product of the previous era. Hence the rear discs, which were gone for 1980. I think the B-bodies did well for as long as they did because of the investment they enjoyed as a result of this previous era. By the mid-80s there was talk of an all-FWD lineup but B/D-bodies lasted until 1996, and I'd argue that was because of the inherent quality of the platform (he probably made a financial argument that it was better to keep making them and modify, including a refresh for 1991, as necessary).
I'm just drawing this picture of the late 70s as a significant era, at least for the full frame car, when you look at everything including the sales numbers some posts ago. Things they had in the 70s on the big cars: ABS, traction control, dual air bags, multiport fuel injection and, yes, rear disc brakes. Things most people associate as 90s technology. Compact cars of this era, however, were a completely different story.

I just texted him this morning asking if he's made any progress with the front bumper. He replied that he picked up some tool for it (no idea what that would be, but I'd guess either a pressing or prying device) and he was going to make an attempt this morning. If I could notice it in the fairly mediocre pictures, it's probably something that would bother me in real life. So I hope he is successful.
