Re: 2004 G3500 Box Truck CEL
I was on RockAuto ordering mainly thermostats for the pickup (seems very slow to warm up when it's cold out), wipers and stuff for most of the fleet, and somewhat on a whim decided to try a "Walker" brand MAF that was listed for the box truck. With the air tube it was like $58 and I had good luck ...

Re: 2017 GLS550 Coolant Leak
Yeah, not the actual $'s, but that's a big % different. Picked up and installed this morning and let it sit at 12 psi for 90 minutes to verify no leaks. Buttoned up, reinstalled the undershield (I dropped a socket and had to pull it to retrieve it). Back to all stock hose routing/connections ...

Re: 2017 GLS550 Coolant Leak
Warwick has it for $3 and change. List is $5 something. New London wants $7.

Re: 2017 GLS550 Coolant Leak
Hopefully New London has one in stock. Very frustrating that they don't subscribe to the standard MB parts website stuff.

Re: 2017 GLS550 Coolant Leak
Went to install the stock style hoses and fittings for the one I broke and to swap out my plumbing tee. Also installed the last two idlers I now had.
Everything went OK until I broke this part off in the block:

Passed. Sheet says evap was not ready, so I don’t know what the reader was checking.

2015 GLA 45 Snow tires
Found a set of 245/45R18 blizzak for $250 on aftermarket wheels at the local shop/emissions place. Sign says they came off a 2020 e350.
Looks like off set and bolt pattern match.

Re: 2009 HHR cyl 3 misfire and evap code
Evap tested sat this morning. Icarsoft says 1 test is still incomplete but doesn’t list which one.
I ordered a kingbolen ediag last night but it won’t be in until Monday.
I’m going to get an emissions test at 8 - I got here early and I’m waiting already. Hopefully it passes. Should be ok with one ...

Re: 2009 HHR cyl 3 misfire and evap code
Ok. Back to all tests ready/ok except evap and secondary air. Hopefully a cold stat and highway jaunt in the morning will get me to at least one of those ready.
I’m supposed to have the car back by 10 am tomorrow and I would like to get it emissions tested if I can.

Re: 2009 HHR cyl 3 misfire and evap code
I pulled the #4 coil and the spring/resistor in the coil boot either fell out or were already laying at the bottom of the hole next to the plug. Pulled the rest to check and all others seemed to stay in the boot. Used dielectric grease to paste all in place, checked plug torque and reassembled. 5 ...
